Columbus factory visit, Milano IT, June 2017

A must to stop at the Columbus Factory on the way back home from Concour de Machines 2017. After we received a very warm welcome from our guide Federico Stanzani we took a factory tour with a special bonus.

El presidente Antonio Columbo himself has joined unexpectedly and showed us even more than we've expected. The tour was even more excited. Antonio's paid interest in my Regal saddle. His skilled eye spotted that the saddle was hard to get because of the NOS vintage piece I bought cheaply just a few weeks ago. I gladly passed this saddle as a present to Antonio as a thank you for the nice meeting.
